Teachers will have situations where they use the same assignments for multiple classes. This especially occurs when they are teaching more than one class of the same course. Fortunately, it is possible to copy assignments from one class to another, from current or previous terms. You have the option to copy one assignment, several assignments, or all assignments. Using this method, a teacher can complete the assignment setup procedure quickly and accurately.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1. Select a Class and Reporting Term and click on the Assignments tab.

2. Right-click any assignment and click Copy Assignments.

3. Select the assignments that you would like to copy and then click Next. In this example we will copy ALL the assignments from one Creative Technology class to all other Creative Technology classes.

4. Select the classes to which you would like to copy the selected assignments. In this example we will copy the assignments to every Form 3 Creative Technology class so we need to select the checkbox next to all the Form 3 Creative Technology classes. Click OK when you have made your selection.

Note: Once Gradebook has saved the changes go ahead and check the other classes to make sure that the assignments have been copied correctly. You may need to tweak assignment names or dates. Be sure to ALWAYS make sure that the Date Due on any assignment is assigned to the correct Reporting Term.

Note: It is also possible to copy assignments from one class to another, from current or previous terms, simply by using Copy Assignment in the Tools menu at the top of the screen.
