INTRO
There are several ways to exclude categories, assignments and scores from the final grade calculation. This guide will provide a method to remove one whole assignment from being part of the final grade.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
1. Login and launch Gradebook and then select a Class.
2. Click on the Assignment Tab and then select an Assignment.
3. In the Assignment Details Pane be sure to UN-CHECK the Include in Final Grade box.
4. Click the Save button to save your changes.
Note:
1.Making an assignment have a Weight value of 0, zero, will have the same effect as excluding an assignment.
2.By un-checking the ‘Include in Final Grade’ in a category will exclude all assignments in a category from the final grade calculation.
3.By entering an EX in a score cell will exclude that score from the final grade calculation (score is greyed out). Right-Click in any score cell to see the range of score tracking options.
