Summary

If you are a teacher and you can’t remember your password (or your account has been locked) then you will need to ask your local Nominated Security Specialist to reset your PowerTeacher password for you.

If you are the Nominated Security Specialist at your school, then please follow the instructions outlined below to reset Teacher passwords.

Step By Step Guide

1. Log in to PowerSchool.

2. Go to the Staff tab and search for and select a Teacher:

3. Once you have selected a Teacher, go to the Security Settings page:

4. Select the Teachers and Affiliations tab:

5. In the Teacher Password field, delete the existing password and then type ldschurch in the password box instead. Then click Submit.

6. You will then need to instruct the Teacher to try logging in again. Be sure to provide the teacher with the correct URL, Username and Temporary Password. For the teacher in this example you would send an email like this:

Dear Brother Disney,

I have reset your password. Please use the following details to login to PowerTeacher again:

URL: https://powerschool.ldschurch.org/teachers

Username: fakaosidi

Temporary Password: ldschurch

When you log in for the first time you will be asked to change your temporary password (ldschurch) to a password of your choice. Please follow the on screen instructions to select your own password.

QUICK RECAP
