Child protection and safety are paramount in the Pacific Church Schools (PCS). To support this priority, facilitators from the Geneva Office for Human Rights (GO-HRE), are providing instruction on this topic in the Pacific Schools.
Through GO-HRE, free resources are provided to help people acquire knowledge and skills about human rights. These resources are known as the COLEGA resources.
A short video showcasing the COLEGA program in schools can be viewed here.
COLEGA Training Strategy
Training is being delivered to a select group of staff and faculty across PCS during 2023. These trained staff and faculty will become COLEGA facilitators for PCS and will work to ensure that staff, faculty, students, and the wider PCS community are appropriately educated.
