Full Instructions

1. Open MS Teams and click on the Teams icon located on the left-hand navigation menu:

2. Click on the More options icon (indicated by 3 dots) next to the name of the team to which you would like to add a new member:

3. With the More options menu showing, select Manage team:

4. Ensure that the Members tab is selected and then click Add member:

5. A new dialog box will open. Start typing the name of an employee or teacher to search for their profile. In this example I am searching for a person named Ameet Kumar. When the correct name appears, click on the name to add it to the search box:

6. Repeat the previous step as many times as necessary to add multiple people to the search bar. Click Add when you have identified the correct people to add to the team:

7. Any newly added team members will appear below the search bar if they have been successfully added to the team. Click the Close button when you are finished:

Note: When people are added to your team they will be sent an automated email to welcome them to the team. Steps 5, 6, and 7 are relevant for people that use a churchofjesuschrist.org email. Inviting people with a non-employee email address is not recommended. However, exceptions can be made with good reason. Please contact the Area Office if you have questions about using/adding non-employee emails to a particular team.

8. You can check the Members list at any time to see who currently has access to your team. Ensure the Members tab is selected and then expand the Members and guests list (by clicking on the small arrow to the left of the label) to see who belongs to your team:
