Summary

PowerSource is a website that provides training videos and articles related to PowerSchool. PowerSource and PowerSchool currently have separate logins. There is a chance that some of the teachers and staff in your school may not have had a PowerSource account setup yet.


Please use the instructions below to get started.


Step By Step Instructions

1. Before you can use PowerSource you will need to have an EdTech Specialist create a PowerSource account for you. To request a PowerSource account please go to this link and fill out the fields provided. Additional instructions for filling out the form are provided below:

  • In the Email field please type your LDS Church email address.
  • In the Country field please select your country, then select your school.
  • In the Product field, please select PowerSource.
  • In the Subject line please type: New PowerSource Account
  • In the Description field please type your Full Name, Phone Number, School and Job Title.
  • Click Submit when you are complete.


2. The EdTech Specialist will set up a PowerSource account for you. Once the account has been set up you will be sent an email asking you to confirm your account. The email will look something like the screenshot below. Click on the link provided to activate your account.


3. When you click on the link you will be taken to a page and asked to create a password. Type your password in the boxes provided. Note: You will need to type your password in the Password box. You will then need to type your password again in the Confirm Password box. Click Submit when complete.


4. If your account activation has been successful you will then be taken to the PowerSource Home Page.
