INTRO

In order for grading to be  consistent across all schools for Report  Cards, Honour Rolls, Transcripts  and other grading data, the Area has mandated that a standard of TWO decimal  places be used for recording all grades in Gradebook. Please use the  instructions provided below to check or update your Gradebook preferences.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1. Launch Gradebook and go to  Tools > Preferences.

2. Select the Grading tab.

3. Adjust Grading Preferences as per necessary.

In this example we will force Gradebook to round all scores to two decimal places.

4. Click OK (bottom right corner of dialog box) to save your changes.

5. You may need to log out of  Gradebook and then log back in to see your changes take effect.

QUICK RECAP

1. All Gradebook scores should be rounded to TWO decimal places

2. To view/modify your Gradebook Preferences open Gradebook  and navigate to Tools > Preferences

3. Select the Grading tab

4. Make sure that grades are Rounded to TWO decimal places

5. Click OK to save your changes
