On 17 November 2022, Gordan Tanner (Pacific Area Legal Counsel) provided training relating to the protection and safeguarding of children attending Pacific Church Schools (PCS).
The purpose of the training was to help all principals and Pacific Area leaders:
- Access and use the Priesthood Abuse Helpline
- Understand the serious nature of protecting children and youth
- Understand President Nelson's charge to support child safeguarding initiatives
