INTRO

At certain times you may have the need to search for students within the Pacific Schools District that are not currently enrolled at your school.


For example, perhaps you need to enrol a new student at your school, but you want to check first to make sure that no additional enrolment records for the same student already exist elsewhere in the District. Or perhaps you simply need to locate a student in order to request a student transcript or financial records from their current school.


Whatever the reason, you can now use the District Search tab to search for any student attending a LDS school in the Pacific. Fields displayed include ‘Student Number’, ‘Full Name’, ‘DOB’, ‘Last Year Level’, ‘Phone Numbers’, ‘Entry and Exit Dates’, ‘Enrol Status’ and ‘School’.


STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1. From the Start Page select the search button labelled: District Search


2. Enter the Last Name of a student OR a Date of Birth in the fields provided and then click the Search icon.


NOTE: You do not have to type a full name in the Last Name field. For example, if my last name is ‘Kaufusi’, I do not have to type the full name ‘Kaufusi’ in the search box. I can simply type just a portion of the name such as ‘fusi’ to return all students that contain ‘fusi’ in their last name. In this case, I might see a list of surnames such as: Fusi, Fusikata, Fusitu’a, or Kaufusi etc

 

3. A list of possible matches will be displayed, along with additional data such as the Student Number, DOB, Grade, Phone, Enrollment Status etc.


NOTE: For Administrators with access to multiple schools, you can highlight the Student Number or Student Name on the list displayed and Copy the Selection (Ctrl-C) to assist in searching for the student when switching between schools.


QUICK RECAP

2. Enter the Search details and click the Search icon 

3. View the list of possible matches and copy or retrieve the required information
